A feature-length tale starring characters from TV's 'Magic Roundabout'. The arrival in the garden of a blue cat called Buxton soon starts to cause quite a stir. Shortly after Dougal spots Buxton talking to the Blue Voice, all manner of strange goings-on begin to take place. With Buxton eager to take control of the garden, Dougal soon finds himself having to rescue his friends from the clutches of an invading army. Meanwhile, Mark Antony (Sid James) romances Egyptian Empress Cleopatra (Amanda Barrie). In 'Carry On Screaming' (1966), detective Bung (Harry H. Corbett) investigates a mad professor (Williams) and his sister, who are turning their victims into shop window dummies. Finally, in 'Carry On Cowboy' (1965), Marshall P. Knutt (Jim Dale), a former sanitary engineer, becomes the sheriff of Stodge City in the Wild West and must help a young woman beat the Rumpo Kid (James), the outlaw who shot her father.
"Do You Mind If I Smoke?" tells the story of Fenella Fielding's remarkable 65-year career in theatre, radio, TV and film. Best known for her 1960s film appearances in classic comedies such as "Carry On Screaming", "Doctor in Clover" and "Carry On Regardless", Fielding's sublime talents also brought her success in serious roles on the stage, including title roles in "Hedda Gabler" and "Colette". Spiced with star-studded anecdotes and personalized with moving stories about innocence and experience, the early struggles of an aspiring actress and later professional rivalries, "Do You Mind If I Smoke?" is a witty, warm and wonderfully recounted memoir of an extraordinary life.
